Wildlight Yoga School is dedicated to preserving the tradition of the yoga school as a place of philosophical inquiry, spiritual study, and embodied practice. Rooted in the wisdom traditions of India, yoga extends far beyond physical postures, offering a comprehensive exploration of consciousness, ethical living, the relationship between body and mind, and the pursuit of liberation. We believe these teachings deserve to be studied with the same rigor, curiosity, and reverence with which they have been practiced and transmitted across generations.
Through immersive education, historical scholarship, and experiential learning, Wildlight cultivates curious students into lifelong practitioners. Our programs honor the depth and diversity of yogic traditions while fostering the knowledge, discernment, and personal insight necessary to integrate these teachings into daily life.
FOUNDATIONS OF YOGA
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Foundations of Yoga is a comprehensive educational program designed to deepen students’ understanding of yoga through five immersive areas of study: Asana, the Eight Limbs, the Five Koshas, the Chakras, and the Five Elements.
Each immersion examines a distinct dimension of yogic philosophy and practice, combining historical context, theoretical study, thoughtful discussion, and embodied exploration. Together, these courses provide an interdisciplinary foundation for continued learning, self-inquiry, and personal practice.
Students may enroll in individual immersions according to their interests or complete all five to earn a Foundations of Yoga Certificate of Completion from Wildlight's Yoga School. No prior experience or intention to teach is required.
