Is there parking at the studio?
There is ample metered street parking on Milwaukee Ave., free parking on Cuyler and Belle Plaine, a metered city lot at Cuyler and LaPorte, and bike parking right out front.
The meters are free on Sundays.
Wildlight is also accessible by the Irving Park, Milwaukee, and Cicero buses.
How do I find the studio?
We are in the same building as Filament Theatre, located at 4041 N. Milwaukee Ave. on the third floor. We are across the street from The Portage Theater.
You can take the stairs or our ADA-accessible elevator to the 3rd floor.
Turn left out of the elevator and enter through the single door on the right, at the end of the hall. You're here!
Is the studio ADA accessible?
Yes, there is an elevator and ramp to enter the studio.
What should I do if I can't attend class?
You can deregister for any class without penalty up to 15 minutes prior to the class using the "Fit by Wix" app under "Manage Bookings" or a web-browser under "My Bookings."
Click the drop-down menu to select "Cancel."
Failure to deregister for a class at least 15 minutes in advance will result in the deduction of a class credit from your account.
Can I still join if I'm running late?
For the safety of all our students and staff, we ask that you prioritize timeliness so as to not disrupt the meditative experience of practice.
Will I be charged if I miss a class?
Yes. If you miss a class, it is considered a no-show and will incur a $30 fee charged to the card on file. Cancellations made within 12 hours of class start time will incur a $15 fee.
We encourage you to plan ahead and manage your bookings through the Fit by Wix app or online, so you can make any changes as early as possible. Registration also remains open until 10 minutes before class begins, for days when you may prefer to book closer to class time.
Just like most appointment-based services, your reservation holds a dedicated spot. Even if you’re unable to attend, that space was still prepared for and held for you. Our policies are not meant to feel punitive—they’re an acknowledgment of that shared commitment and the care that goes into holding the room.
If you’re navigating a personal emergency or truly unforeseen situation, please reach out. We approach these moments with care, and exceptions may be offered at our team’s discretion when it’s not a recurring pattern.
What happens if it snows?
Wildlight maintains an inclement weather policy in accordance with Chicago Public Schools. If CPS cancels school, Wildlight will cancel all in-studio classes. All classes will still be offered via Zoom. In-studio classes will be cancelled in our app, registered students will be notified, and your credits returned. You will not be automatically transferred to Zoom. If you'd like to participate via Zoom, you'll need to register for the class as usual.
Can I join classes from home if I can't come to the studio?
Yes, all our classes are available virtually via Zoom. Simply register for the 'Zoom' option on the booking calendar, and you will receive a confirmation email that includes the link. If you don’t receive the email, please reach out and we will share the login details.
