  • Does Wildlight have a Statement of Beliefs?
This is important to us: We believe in the radical celebration of all people. We believe that yoga is a transformative, lifelong practice that integrates all 8 Limbs and is not limited to asana. We believe yoga in all its practices should be safe, accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for anyone who wants to practice. We believe in the dignity and rights of workers. We believe in sustainable community investment and the importance of partnership for social change. We believe in bold advocacy for those experiencing oppression and marginalization in any form. We believe in honoring the diverse experiences, stories, identities, and needs of all of our students. We believe MLK Jr. that “nobody is free until we are all free.” We believe the Hindu philosophy Jivanmukti, “freedom while alive.” We believe yoga and its 8-limbs are liberating and the path to that freedom is an adventure.
