JAMIE GREENHUT
Jamie Greenhut (she/her) lovingly views her practice as an acupuncturist as a form of detective work. She delights in the investigative nature of her craft, utilizing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnostic techniques to uncover the truth hidden beneath each patients’ individual imbalances.
A graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Jamie spent four years and nearly 3,000 hours of combined didactic and clinical training to earn her Master’s degree. She passed all four national board exams, earning her the status of Diplomate of Acupuncture from the NCBAHM (formerly NCCAOM) and title of Licensed Acupuncturist. After moving to Chicago in 2024, Jamie became a member of the Illinois Society of Acupuncturists.
Alongside acupuncture, Jamie often incorporates TCM modalities such as direct moxibustion,
Tui Na massage, teishin (a non-insertive acupuncture tool), acupressure, and ear seeds for a
comprehensive therapeutic experience. Focuses of her practice include stress management,
digestive issues, complex trauma, menstrual health, pain management, and major life
transitions. Her practice is trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and patient-centered with an
emphasis on collaboration and self advocacy.
If you’ve received acupuncture before, are a nervous first-timer, or lie somewhere in between,
Jamie’s intuitive approach and eclectic skill set can accommodate everybody and every body.
