About the event

We are honored to have Rodrigo Bussad joining us to share his Handpan music during this 90 Minute Restorative Class.

Restorative yoga helps provide that physical and mental balance to prevent stress and anxiety. With the assistance of props (blocks, bolsters, & blankets). The focus is for releasing the grip of muscular and inner tension so you can be more spacious and receptive. Exploring what happens when you slowly release unnecessary habitual tension in the body and mind.

Please dress in layers, as your body temperature drops in the meditative states. Socks, long-sleeved shirts and full-length pants are recommended.

You will end the practice feeling as though you’ve had a good night’s rest and prepared for the week ahead.

About your Musician:

Rodrigo Bussad (aka.handpanmoves) is a multi-instrumentalist and holds a Ph.D. in music composition. With the moto “handpan.everywhere.”, he had travelled through five countries playing for audiences in theaters, as in the streets. Also a yogi, Rodrigo combines the sounds of the handpan and other percussion instruments with the inspiration that comes with the yoga practice.

About your Instructor:

Becky loves the intentionality we can find behind simply moving and breathing on our mats. She uses sequential movements to lead up to a peak pose or focuses on linking her intention to heart openers, hip openers, or other body awareness poses. She has a conversational way of teaching that strives to welcome us all to be accepting of where we are at physically/mentally on any given day.
