About the event
This special Mother's Day meditation will be guided by the multi-talented Cindy Starry. To begin, she will present a beautiful hand-drawn art card and guide a visual meditation specifically related to that artwork, through imagining the images and colors of the art as a way to reflect our mythological and universal colors. Experiences may include enhanced dreams, new connections to colors, and new ways to relax and center mind and body through art as a visual meditation practice. Â Having art available to focus on, as a way to force our active minds away from distractions, provides a way to breath in color for a calm and centering meditation experience. Art is the place where we invite other aspects of our lives to reflect the inner terrain of our being. As we gather the wisdom of our inner knowing, the truth becomes illumined and freedom is possible with expression.Â
This event is welcome to all and is especially a great starting point for those who struggle with a busy mind during meditation. No previous experience needed. Bring a friend, or better yet, a mom!Â
