5hr. Business Planning + Consultation:
Upon completion of the 200hr. yoga teacher training, graduates are invited to work one-on-one with Kelli Wefenstette to develop their own individualized business plan which may include business identity creation, financial development, creation of a marketing plan, personal assistance and plan implementation.
Cost is $250.

About the training:
Wildlight Yoga believes in yoga as a lifestyle and journey and will partner with Global Yoga and Wellness to offer a 200-hour teacher training in a traditional Hatha style with focus on alignment, anatomy, and making yoga accessible for all bodies while respecting the deep lineage of yoga as it’s migrated to the west.
Pre-requisite: Students must have a regular practice of at least one year to be eligible for enrollment.

180 in-studio classroom hours
20 hours of elective study and student teaching
2 book reports, midterm exam, and pose review
Completed weekly homework

Class Size: There will be a maximum of 15 people in this training to ensure professionalism, private attention, and high quality of instruction.
Attendance: Attendance for all days is required. Trainees will need to schedule make up sessions with the Director. Extra fees may apply and/or trainees may not be eligible for graduation.
Yoga styles: Due to the varied backgrounds of our speciality instructors, we are able to offer many styles of traditional Hatha Yoga including pose alignment training in Anusara Yoga and additional training in Kundalini Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Mantra and Chakra Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama breathing forms and much more.
Techniques: 100 hours.
Training and Practice of Asana: Hatha Yoga Poses, Hatha Yoga principles, Pranayama Breathing Techniques, Chanting, Kriyas, and Meditation
Yoga Therapeutics for special needs using props and modifications.
You will also receive classes in forms of Prenatal and Vinyasa yoga.
Teaching and Methodology: 25 hours.
Demonstrations, Observations, Adjusting and Communication, Instruction, Teaching practice and Class Sequencing.
Anatomy and Physiology: 20 hours.
Physical Body Systems and Structures, Subtle Energy Body (Nadis and Chakras), Location, Common injuries and knowledge of the bones and muscles.

Application Process: To apply, interested participants should complete the application below. Upon receipt and review of your application, you will be notified of your acceptance status. Upon acceptance, you will be sent an invoice for your tuition. a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your position in this training.
Prior to July 1, 2019: a full refund will be given minus the $500 non-refundable deposit.
After July 1, 2019: studio credit may be applied toward participation in a future training.
If a student fails to complete the training for any reason, no refunds will be available, but students may be invited to participate in a future training to complete their 200 hour yoga teacher training.
about the director
Rhonda Kantor, BSN, BS, RN, HNB-BC, HWNC-BC, E-RYT 500, RPYT, YACEP, the founder and director of the Global Yoga Center received her Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification from the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago in 1996. She owned and managed the Global Yoga Center for over 10 years and continued to specialize in 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings and Prenatal Yoga Training Workshops. She has studied with numerous senior teachers in trainings and workshops all over the country in the last 20 years.
Rhonda has taught yoga classes and workshops at conferences and in business settings as well as consulted for teacher trainings and studios. She has been teaching yoga and meditation for over 20 years and directing teacher trainings for 15 years. Rhonda teaches Hatha Yyoga for all levels, Vinyasa yoga for beginners, Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga, Restorative yoga and relaxation, Chair yoga, and Hatha yoga for special needs. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) at the 500 hour level, Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) and a Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) through the Yoga Alliance. She combines her knowledge of alternative health and wellness with her yoga experience and teaching methods to create innovative yoga teacher trainings, workshops and classes.
