Join Wildlight Yoga each month for relaxation techniques to reset with a gathering of select yoga, meditation & conscious breathing techniques.

This month, Yoga Teacher & Reiki Master Teacher & Meditation Teacher, Cassie Zehren, will be holding space and guiding students through restorative yoga, yoga nidra & Reiki.

Restorative yoga helps provide that physical and mental balance to prevent stress and anxiety. With the assistance of props (blocks, bolsters, & blankets). The focus is for releasing the grip of muscular and inner tension so you can be more spacious and receptive. Exploring what happens when you slowly release unnecessary habitual tension in the body and mind.

Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation technique used in yoga to help boost energy levels, enhance creativity and give the mind a chance to rest and rejuvenate. It differs from meditation as meditation is most often experienced in the 'waking state'. Yoga Nidra explores the deeper layers of Self, moving beyond the waking states into the more subtle layers of Self. When accessing this state between waking and sleeping (yogic sleep), you can systematically release stored physical, emotional & mental tensions. 

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress & anxiety. This is a great way to learn about the Reiki ideals, experience Reiki for the first time and for those already attuned to Reiki. A way to give back to yourself!

Included in the in-person attendance, will be a single serving of hemp flower tea from local company, CCC. Great for further relaxation and warmth. Bring your own favorite mug.

Please dress in layers, as your body temperature drops in the meditative states. Socks, long-sleeved shirts and full-length pants are recommended.

You will end the practice feeling as though you’ve had a good night’s rest and prepared for the week ahead.
