Service Description
This week-long foundational training introduces the Tranquility Rising™ Method of Thai Yoga Therapy, blending traditional Thai bodywork with the elemental wisdom of Ayurveda and the Five Elements of Chinese Medicine. Designed for yoga teachers who have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training, this immersive experience builds on your understanding of anatomy, energy, and mindful movement. You’ll learn to work with the 12 meridian lines of the body, exploring how blocked or deficient energy affects both physical function and emotional expression. Through hands-on practice and guided study, you’ll move through the five sides of the body, first supine, side-lying, prone, second supine (focused on digestion), and seated, and gain the ability to offer a complete 90-minute to 2-hour Thai Yoga Therapy session. You’ll also learn to create individualized client routines that integrate the elemental principles of both Eastern systems to bring balance, grounding, and emotional release. The Tranquility Rising™ Method emphasizes presence over performance inviting practitioners to listen deeply to the body, bridge movement with intention, and recognize how emotional stories are held and released through physical touch. This training serves as a comprehensive yet accessible introduction to the Tranquility Rising™ approach to Thai Yoga Therapy and is ideal for yoga teachers and holistic practitioners ready to expand their capacity to support healing through touch, movement, and energetic awareness.
