→The goal of Reiki is to restore balance and harmonies in the energy system, placing the client in a position to self heal. A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. A session is pleasant and relaxing and is utilized for ones personal wellness.

→The Reiki session will take place in a warm, comfortable environment. Music can be used. Client is fully clothed and lies on a table designed for clients comfort. Comfortable clothing is best suited for Reiki sessions.

→Most clients feel a sense of relaxation & peace. The mind may feel calm and the clients physical body should feel relaxed. Reiki is so relaxing that sometimes clients may fall asleep during the session. Clients still receive all the benefits of the session, sleeping or awake.

→At the practitioners hand placements, clients may feel a very slight tingling, heat or nothing at all. The sensations or lack of are not a barometer of the Reiki, they are just how your particular body senses energy. You may feel a peace and calm in your mind or physically in general. It is different for all clients but deep relaxation is almost always felt.

→Reiki is a wonderful compliment in a health or wellness plan. It supports your work with your primary care providers. Reiki is beneficial with medical issues, pregnancy, life stages and more!

→How do I prepare?: You’ll want to be sure you've eaten & hydrated a few hours before the session, mostly so you will be as comfortable as possible and not distracted by hunger or thirst. Avoid eating a heavy meal beforehand, however, as you don’t want all of your body’s energy to be directed toward digesting while you’re receiving your treatment.
