Wildlight is excited to offer our next Healing Practitioner Pop-Up Event in May!  These quarterly events allow us to introduce different healing professionals & modalities to our community, creating opportunities for adventure and the exploration of holistic healing and its transformative potential.

John Burks, certified Thai Yoga Bodywork Professional will be offering private Thai Yoga Therapy Sessions on May 14, 18 + 19th!  We are offering an affordable, Wildlight-exclusive, price per session so that anyone who is interested in trying this modality has the opportunity to participate!

What is Thai Yoga Therapy?

Thai Yoga Therapy is a dynamic, therapeutic approach to healing that promotes physical, energetic, and spiritual wellbeing. It utilizes three major techniques to bring healing to the body, and focus the mind:  stretching the muscles, ligaments and joints, relaxing the fascia, and releasing acupressure points.  Benefits of Thai Yoga Therapy include:  increased flexibility, range of motion, relief of muscle tension and a clearer state of mind.

The Technique

Thai Yoga Therapy sessions are a co-creation between the practitioner and recipient –finding and dissolving blockages in the network of energy lines that run through the tissues, opening + toning the body with yoga-like stretches, plus all the benefits of deep relaxation in a meditative flow.  These sessions create a state of true yogic bliss!  As a recipient, you will enjoy all the healing benefits of yoga without the effort of doing it :)

Preparing for a Thai Yoga Therapy Session

-Wear comfortable clothes! Thai bodywork is done FULLY clothed in order to fully access critical acupressure points & facilitate deeper stretching. Yoga clothes or an oversized tee and pajama pants work perfectly.

-Just like you would for a yoga class, please avoid eating at least two hours before a session.

-Avoid using heavy moisturizers and oils before your session.

-Prepare to let go. Often the hardest part of receiving this kind of therapy is relaxing into someone else’s energy. Try to relax, remember your healing intention, and focus on slowing down your breath.

Wildlight Exclusive Price Per Session

$75 for 60 minutes | $100 for 90 minutes
