Our senses are bombarded on a daily basis. Especially over the past few years, many of us are constantly in a state of 'fight or flight' response. As a result our bodies and minds can feel overwhelmed and anxiety filled on a daily basis. This workshop is an introductory educational and experiential workshop for how your psyche and nervous system work and how to work with them to maintain and ease that feeling of bring overwhelmed, stress and anxiety.
Kate Nolan, a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and Becky Mocarski, a registered Yoga Instructor with a background in trauma informed yoga, will be teaching various ways to help us calm down in even the most anxious moments. They will have an open discussion about what happens to our nervous system in these situations and offer sensory ways to release and reset ourselves.
