Becca (she/her) came to yoga seeking peace and presence through a difficult time in her life. She was astonished by the transformative power of yoga in body, mind, and spirit, and believes it is an honor to be able to offer this gift to others. Becca specializes in mindful movement through Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative styles. She is also trained in trauma-informed yoga and incorporates elements of emotional regulation throughout all of her classes.

She earned her 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate in 2017 from Prairie Yoga, and her Associates in Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assisting in 2021 from Elgin Community College. She has also pursued many continuing education courses, including Reiki training.

Becca loves incorporating her modern knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology into her classes while staying true to the roots of the ancient practice of yoga. You can expect her classes to be nurturing, engaging, inspiring, and welcoming of all bodies.

When she’s not practicing yoga, you can find Becca writing music and poetry, exploring nature, or snuggling with her dog, Hejira, and cat, Mouse.
