GLOBAL SPIRIT,
LOCAL VIBES

DREAMED OF ON A RIVER BANK IN BELIZE, BREATHED TO LIFE IN CHICAGO

Transformed by the simplicity, intentionality, and adaptability of a consistent yoga practice, inspired by solo international travel, and committed to living a freedom journey to inspire ongoing liberation of self and community, Kelli Wefenstette opened Wildlight Yoga in 2018.

I believe that every person on this planet deserves freedom while they're living and that the transformative, lifelong practice of yoga is the journey toward that liberation.

I’ve always been a little wide-eyed and rebel-hearted, a daydreamer, seeker and finder of all things beautiful, and for as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to JUST GO … living life on my own terms was never an “if” and always a “when?” I don’t believe in waiting until we’re old to feel fully alive or waiting until we’re dead to be free.

Living big takes guts. It demands fearlessness. It asks for a bit of audacity. Through the practice, lifestyle, and journey of yoga, I’ve found full embodiment, total empowerment, and the courage to be me.

I believe in the transformative pathway of yoga because I've lived it.

My yoga practice began in 2008 and has helped me navigate years of intense grief after the unexpected deaths of my brother in 2011 then step-father in 2016.

It helped me uncover and heal a decade of debilitating symptoms of an auto-immune illness and ADHD, maneuver through a sudden career change, a divorce, and a pandemic. So you can bet that today I’m living bigger than ever before.

I founded Wildlight Yoga because I believe in yoga, I believe in myself, and I believe in you.

When you’re ready, take a deep breath and jump. Terence McKenna wrote, “This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”

Your courage is stunning. Your most vibrant self is waiting to meet you. What are you waiting for? We will help you be brave.
